觸控螢幕手勢專利 Apple

今年7月Apple申請的專利文件中描述了一種觸控技術，游標的外觀可以像iPhone的螢幕一樣感應手指的觸控.



Apple已經申請獲得這項專利，該專可以透過數種方式在觸控輸入裝置上附加手勢（gestures），這很可能讓該公司在未來將此專利應用到具有應用到觸控板或是觸控螢幕的裝置上。

該公司的專利（http://tinyurl.com/amaq3）是 "Gestures for touch sensitive input devices"，在一個大型而空白的顯示器上能以操作 iPod 的方式讓刻度盤轉動，這份專利中描述了數種輸入觸控命令的方式，包括浮動的控制系統以及翻閱電子書。

這項專利很像在 2004 年七月 Apple 申請的另一項專利的延伸，但該專利尚未被認可。

Apple 的專利上如此表示："The invention relates, in one embodiment, to a computer implemented method for processing touch inputs." "The method includes reading data from a touch sensitive device having a multipoint capability. The method also includes identifying at least one multipoint gesture based on the data from the touch sensitive device."

因 Apple的壓力，目前已經停產的 Newton PDA 使用觸控螢幕以及尖筆當作輸入，但是這家電腦與電子用品製造商仍未推出單獨存在的或以其他整合方式存在的PDA。然而 Apple 的 iPod 也包含了基本的 PAD 功能，包括儲存通訊錄。而其他的 PAD 與 MP3 製造商已經放棄將 iPod 那樣的轉盤當作方向鍵。
